How did you get rid of your baby's gas & blot problems..?

I have a 5 week old baby boy. He used to projectile throw up every day now I have it handled to almost never once a week at max. He has severe belly problems, His belly is always brick hard. His burps are louder then mine and seem like they hurt some times and He screams and cries when he passes gas. He seems very uncomfortable. We burp him every 1/2 to 1 ounce.. He has anti colic tommee tippee bottles and is on soy concentrate isomil. I had him on mylicon but it is 11 bucks for a half an ounce and he was getting it every time he ate. The bottle didn't last very long nor did it seem to help very much.. Please any suggestions would be appreciated
