How to get a guy to ask you out?

I love this guy named Zack but i dont know if he likes me back. I have been in love with him for four years and we dated before, but one of his friends broke us up. We talk alot but I want him to ask me out. How do I get him to ask me without it seeming to obvious? Please help....
