Can using a Bissel Carpet extractor/shampooer empty to suck up fluids ruin it?

You can make up the vinegar/water mixture and put it into the cleaning solution tank, then use it just like you'd do with the solutions you buy at the store. It won't hurt your machine. Vinegar is your best bet - it's the only thing I've found that kills pet odors.
